ANDREA OWENS, Teacher Training Director
Andrea began expressing herself through dance and the performing arts at age three. While movement gave her physical freedom, she often struggled with anxiety and a restless mind. At fifteen, a yoga class with her mom sparked a powerful shift—she discovered the balance of body and mind she’d been craving.
After a career in acting and becoming a mom, Andrea returned to Indianapolis to continue her studies in Creative Arts Therapy. She holds a 500-hour yoga certification and is trained in Trauma-Informed Yoga Therapy, Vinyasa, Restorative, Yin, Meditation, Mindfulness, Sculpt, Pre and Postnatal Yoga, FRC, and Reiki.
Her goal is to create a safe, supportive space for deeper self-connection and meaningful growth.
-
YVONNE RODRIGUEZ, Teacher Training Leader
Yvonne’s yoga journey began in 2005 when a friend urged her to take a class—and from that first experience, she was hooked. Drawn to both the physical and spiritual aspects of the practice, she’s embraced yoga as a lifelong source of challenge, healing, and growth.
After her first training in 2009 with Christina Sell, Yvonne relocated from Texas to Indianapolis, where she completed another 200-hour certification with Eric Bryant and Ahna Hoke. In 2021, she earned her 300-hour certification in the Cyoga Method with Carmen and Moises Aguilar, deepening and reigniting her passion for teaching.
Her classes create a playful, grounded space where breath, movement, and spirit come together. Yvonne believes yoga is for everyone—offering strength, healing, and a path to personal transformation.
-
Ahna Hoke, Teacher Training Leader
Ahna began practicing yoga in 1995 in her Pennsylvania hometown and has been teaching since 2001. A 500-hour registered teacher with Yoga Alliance, she has completed over 1,200 hours of training in various Hatha Yoga styles, including extensive study at Kripalu and deep roots in Anusara Yoga’s heart-centered philosophy and alignment principles.
Ahna also holds over 135 hours of advanced training in pranayama and meditation. She believes breath is the bridge between body, mind, and spirit, and brings that focus into her teaching to create practices that are uplifting, grounding, and heart-led.
Known for her down-to-earth style, playful energy, and deep knowledge of anatomy, Ahna co-leads Invoke’s 200-hour teacher training and loves teaching everyone from beginners to seasoned yogis.
