ANDREA OWENS, Teacher Training Leader
Andrea began expressing herself through dance and the performing arts at age three. While movement gave her physical freedom, she often struggled with anxiety and a restless mind. At fifteen, a yoga class with her mom sparked a powerful shift—she discovered the balance of body and mind she’d been craving.
After a career in acting and becoming a mom, Andrea returned to Indianapolis to continue her studies in Creative Arts Therapy. She holds a 500-hour yoga certification and is trained in Trauma-Informed Yoga Therapy, Vinyasa, Restorative, Yin, Meditation, Mindfulness, Sculpt, Pre and Postnatal Yoga, FRC, and Reiki.
Her goal is to create a safe, supportive space for deeper self-connection and meaningful growth.

JILL GODWIN, Teacher Training Leader
With a lifelong background in movement, Jill began dancing at age 11 and went on to spend 17 years as a professional contemporary dancer with Dance Kaleidoscope in Indianapolis. She retired from the company in 2020. In addition to performing, Jill has taught ballet, jazz, tap, modern, and contemporary dance since the age of 18.
In 2012, Jill became certified as an aerial yoga instructor through Mindful Movement Studio, where she taught for more than seven years. She has been a dedicated vinyasa yoga practitioner since 2018 and earned her 200-hour RYT certification through Yoga and Ayurveda Center in 2020 and promptly began teaching yoga at Invoke Studio.
Jill’s mission as a teacher is to make yoga accessible to every body — from beginner to advanced practitioner. Her classes are thoughtfully designed, approachable, and uplifting, blending movement, humor, and mindfulness to help students reconnect with their confidence and sense of self.
